Working on this book has been an intense journey, much like the one it describes. It's not just an adventure novel; it's so much more. A great deal of research went into it, making you feel like you're traveling aboard a ship of that era, as if you were actually there, describing the experiences in vivid detail and with complete credibility. But there's also the thriller element, always present in my novels.
The story begins with a murder, a crime that lingers in the background, weighing down the protagonists throughout the pages, influencing their lives even thousands of miles away. Because problems, no matter how much we run from them or think we're getting away from them, follow us wherever we go.
Thus, Victory encompasses the best of a good adventure novel and the best of a thriller. Mystery, suspense, intrigue, romance… It was a dream to write, and I hope it will be a dream for you to read it.
